Wow. That's a lot of stalking. Dangerous, scary stalking.
I was wondering why he got six years in prison. After reading the facts, I understand why.
The way the facts begin in the opinion is something you see occasionally:
"Defendant and Jane dated for several months, beginning in 2015. Several times,
either Jane or defendant broke off their relationship, but then the two of them would
reconcile. Between August and October 2015, Jane obtained three restraining orders
against defendant, and despite these orders, Jane and defendant reunited and broke up
several more times between December 2015 and April 18, 2016."
Not good. Tip: A good indication that your relationship is not, and will not, work -- ever -- is that you have to get a restraining order against the other person.
